Teaching is my best work.

I use my training and 20+ years of performance experience to lead students in a fulfilling exploration of music. My goal is to empower you to express yourself as the artist you are via functional physical freedom. In addition to my private teaching practice, I teach at Palomar College and Grossmont College. I love our singing community and desire to help students establish a rewarding, sustainable, and healthy exploration of the voice. It is my honor to join artists on their journeys with singing.

I primarily teach classical voice, but I also offer specialized sessions in German diction, music theory, and music history. My teaching style is influenced by the Alexander Technique, functional voice training, improvisation, and bel canto singing. With experience as a classroom educator, competition adjudicator, and audition panelist, I can help you prepare for auditions and competitions. My own degrees in music come from Rice University (BM) and the University of Southern California (DMA). My own most influential mentors have been Kathleen Kaun, Johanna Peine, and Cheryl Ann Fulton.
